The 2017 Corvette Dream Giveaway wrapped up with an unsuspecting winner, and now, the organization will pull a new winner for this year’s iteration. The two giveaway vehicles have been announced: a 1965 C2 Corvette Sting Ray and a 2018 C7 Corvette Grand Sport tuned by Lingenfelter.
The 1965 Corvette is far from just another classic car, though. It’s been completely restored and modded with a Lingenfelter-tuned 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine under the hood producing 550 horsepower. Other upgrades include a five-speed manual transmission, air-conditioning and power steering, brakes and windows.
Its exterior color scheme matches the C7 Corvette Grand Sport with Arctic White and red striping inside and out. The Grand Sport itself is of the 3LT kind, which includes the most luxurious options offered. Lingenfelter’s performance upgrades massage 600 horsepower from the 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine and include a performance cam and custom tuning.
Both cars will go to one lucky winner, and the giveaway will also include $50,000 to cover taxes on both vehicles. You can follow the link here to enter for your chance.

This is the 11th year, the Corvette Dream Giveaway has partnered with Lingenfelter – the cars are real and the charity sponsor is New Beginning Children’s Homes, that does wonderful things for foster children and in turn provides grants to six other charities including two veterans charities, MADD, Smile Network and others. I’ve been donating myself since 2011 and pop in to attended the award ceremonies in Clearwater, FL from time to time. The charities have shared videos on the giveaway website thanking them http://www.dreamgiveaway.com and frequently several of them send representatives to the award ceremonies
It’s been around for years and is for real
