Second 2019 GMC Sierra Teaser Image Shows Off Truck’s Profile

We are now only two days away from the unveiling of the all-new 2019 GMC Sierra. And now, after various spy photos of the upcoming pickup truck and the first teaser image showing off the truck’s headlights, we have a second teaser image to share.

Found on the official GMC.com website, the second teaser shows a scantily-lit, partial image of the all-new Sierra. While the first 2019 GMC Sierra teaser showed off the upcoming truck’s front facia and headlights, this one shows its profile from which we can clearly make out the side view of the headlamps, their C-shaped LED accent lights, along with the hood, A-pillar and taillamps. We also get a glimpse of the cab’s roof as well as its communications fin, which is mounted on the driver’s side, as well as a partial look at the side mirrors of the 2019 GMC Sierra.

We still can’t tell from the images whether the 2019 GMC Sierra will wear a different hood than its 2019 Silverado platform mate. This second teaser shows the Sierra with a prominent bulge, which appears to be different from that of the Silverado… although this could be the photo’s lighting playing tricks on us. We do, however, know that the design of the 2019 Sierra interior will be identical to that of the 2019 Silverado.

  2. If you lighten the photo up you can get it a little more defined and see the hood is different than that of the Silverado.
Which makes sense, the hoods, and fenders/wheel arches, have been different since 2007

  3. It will be all different accept for the cab shell. The tailgate will be different with name.

The GMC will only share the cab roof and door frames with Chevy in the sheet metal.

Sorry, Alex, but this guy seems to actually have inside news of GM. He has been consistent at all times and provides an intelligent and informed opinion at all times.

      Good work, Scott3.

      1. Be,

It has been a few minutes since I read this, and I’m still laughing. Thank you for my morning dose of Tuesday humor. Now, what’s that common line about opinions being like a certain body part…?

PS: scott3 – as you know, your comments are very much appreciated.
