Police Ask For Assistance To Find HSV Clubsport Stolen From Parking Lot In New Zealand

New Zealand-based GM Authority readers, keep your eyes open. Police have asked for assistance in locating a blue HSV Clubsport that was stolen from a car yard last Saturday.

According to Stuff.nz, police made contact with the individuals driving the stolen Clubsport and initiated a traffic stop, but the driver ran. A short police chase ensued, but as speeds approached 125 mph, police broke off the pursuit over public safety concerns.

Police have told local gas stations to be on the lookout as the car stops to refuel, and any individual should contact the Waikato police.

The car was last seen on Saturday outside of Te Awamutu. The car is worth $90,000 AUD, or just over $70,000 USD.

  1. If the police was good at what they do then they would not need the public’s help to find this car!
