Following the first official teaser image as well as interior spy shots of the all-new 2019 GMC Sierra, we have more spy photos of GMC’s all-new half-ton truck. Though the photos don’t show us anything new per se, they do bring to light a few things we have been expecting.
Specifically, we can see the C-shaped LED accent lighting in the front and the back, which has become a signature of GMC light design that starting with the current, K2 platform Sierra and Yukon. GMC’s official teaser image of the upcoming Sierra, which shows the front end in a dimly-lit environment plus the LED C-shaped accent lights along with a full-LED headlight element.
Meanwhile, the side profile brings to light two notable elements. First, the character line above the front fender appears to be quite different from that of the 2019 Silverado 1500. Second, the wheel wells of the 2019 Sierra seen in the spy shots also differ from those of the Silverado, thanks to a more blocked off appearance on the front portion of the well.
The all-new 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 will be revealed at a special event in Detroit on March 1st and GM Authority will be in attendance for the event. In the meantime, stay tuned to our GMC Sierra news coverage.

From what I can see so far appears Seirra will have a front appearance to appeal to Ford F-150 customers and Silverado more leaning to favor RAM customers, while still appealing to loyal brands of each. I’m more interested now is knowing more about powertrain such as will GM offer a turbo powered V6 or a hybrid, Mary Barra has commented that every new product line will feature some form of electrification and am curious to see if this applies to trucks.
My take is the Chevy appears more like the Ford, the new ram is copying a little from Chevy and GMC is remaining close to what they have been doing.
The Ford has so many grills now that they could look different several ways.
I saw where they stated the Chevy frame was designed so it could support all types of power gas, diesel, electric and hydrogen fuel cell.
I hope it doesnt look like the silverado the silverado looks like it borrowed designs from the AWFUL & HIDEOUS toyota tundra which in fact is good for nothing HOGWASH & PIGSLOP the tundra is still the UGLIEST among the truck crowd everything toyota makes is UGLY and STUPID toyota is GARBAGE toyota is TRASH
