Here, we have a third-gen Chevrolet Camaro with a twist: the owner has gone ahead and grafted a Silverado grille to the front end. Safety monitors needn’t fret; according to the comments on Reddit, it does have headlights hiding behind the grille. As for those purists and haters out there, there’s not much we can do for you. This modification may make your blood boil.
But hey, at least it’s not an F-150 grille, right?
We’re not automotive designers here at GMAuthority, but were this our vehicle, we would address two things. First, the chrome doesn’t belong; it’s got to go. And second, the spacing between the hood and the top of the grille seems odd; we rather think it should be flush. The rest of the car actually isn’t all that bad, although we have to wonder what would be so awful about simply sticking with a stock Camaro grille.
What do you think about this Silverado-inspired Camaro? Is it a nice touch of originality, or a mistake that shouldn’t have been made?

I enjoyed this article! The camardo made me laugh
My dad had a good response to these types of things. “More money than brains.”
My dad has a horrible response to these things…”How much you want for it?”
Dana Carvey’s Church Lady comes to mind here. “Well isn’t that special?”
It’s not terribly attractive but it looks like it was done well. So I’ll give ’em props for not just duct taping it on. I’ve seen far, far worse on F bodies from the JC Whitney catalog!
Needs the body color Silverado grill option, if available?
I think the only way other than painting it, would be to get the black plastic ones from the WT Silverados from that same time period.
On the Floor LAMAoff_ Nicely integrated and executed. Too bad they didn’t follow up on the theme with AWD or 4-WD.
Stuff like this makes life interesting…Thanks to all involved for the laugh…Oh! The possibilities.
Amazing, …..just slap a little glue on the grill, & slap it on ! UGH !
