This 1985 Chevy C10 Went From Hauling Grass To Hauling Ass: Video

Back in 1985, trucks weren’t especially known for their speed, but this Chevrolet C10 has been taken well beyond the performance envelope for which it was originally designed, becoming a full race-spec pickup truck.

For power, this sky blue C10 calls upon a 376-cubic-inch LSX V8 with a massive 84-mm turbocharger, mated to a built 4L80E automatic. It relies on factory-style leaf springs and bars by CalTrac in the rear, and up front, a Scott’s Hotrod suspension setup has been installed, designed to shed about 200 pounds versus the factory setup.

The owner says he’s been working on the truck for a little over a year, and while it mostly runs on the street, he’s taken it to a couple of local drag strips. No word on what this ’85 Chevy pickup will run in the quarter-mile, though.
