The Corvette-Based Genovation GXE Stars In A Titillating Hype Video

We’ve known about the Corvette-based, all-electric Genovation GXE for quite some time now, but after watching this two-minute hype video, we were reminded of some of the smaller details that come together to make this project truly special.

Take, for example, the eye-catching carbon-fiber front splitter, or carbon-fiber wheels, or the rear-end styling cues, which remind us a bit of the Nissan R34 Skyline GT-R. Sure, the GXE promises to deliver a gargantuan performance envelope with an output of 800 horsepower and 700 lb-ft of torque, and even bigger price tag of $750,000, but we can’t help but feel that these smaller aspects of the car are just as important. After all, if folks are going to spend that kind of money on a car, then it had better be a desirable piece of machinery right down to the finest detail.

Does the Genovation GXE meet the requirements to be inducted into your dream car garage? Watch the video above for yourself, then tell us what you think in the comments section below.

  1. Not very impressive. It looks like it’s traveling along at about 20 to 35 mph.
