Ever since the sixth-gen Chevrolet Camaro hit the scene, the fifth-generation model has remained relevant primarily as a point of comparison. But Lingenfelter has brought the fifth-gen Camaro back into the spotlight with this video, which shows the discontinued pony car dyno testing with the tuning company’s 600HP package.
Lingenfelter’s 600HP package for the fifth-gen Camaro SS sees the LS3 under the hood fitted with a powder-coated Magnuson TVS2300 supercharger. Other supporting modifications include upgraded fuel injectors, a cooler 160-degree thermostat, high-flow induction system developed in-house, and a voltage booster from Kenne Bell.
As with every Lingenfelter product, the package includes Lingenfelter badges, a certificate of authenticity, a chassis dyno report from before and after installation, and a reassuring 3-year/36,000-mile warranty. With a price tag of $10,995 installed, the 600HP package might be a worthwhile product if you’re looking to upgrade your fifth-gen Camaro rather than replacing it altogether with a newer sixth-gen model.
