Angry elephants. That’s what the Cadillac ATS-V sounds like to us with a boisterous, freer-flowing exhaust system, and it’s by no means a bad thing. In fact, after watching this video, we’ve decided it would be rather easier to live without the 6.2-liter LT4 V8 powering the CTS-V given that the 3.6-liter LF4 V6 under the hood of the ATS-V can sound this good.
The ATS-V shown in this video is equipped with a Corsa Performance 3-inch axle-back exhaust system (PN: 14478) that emits a “sport” sound character and boasts big, four-inch tips. It was designed using Corsa’s patented RSC Technology, which allows for an aggressive note under acceleration, but with a drone-free cruising experience.
The exhaust system is available in a polished or black finish, and is currently marked down from $1,993.28 to $1,569.95 USD. So go ahead and click play to hear this exhaust for yourself, and if you get the urge to learn more or place an order, click here.

Had Corsa systems on two of my former V-8 Cadillacs – a CTS-V and XLR. The XLR sounded good, the V sounded awesome -even at idle.
This V-6-equipped ATS-V sounds like a rice-burner with a pair of fart cans. Epic fail. . . There’s just no replacement for displacement.
IMO, the ATS-V’s exhaust should sound similar to its big brother, CTS-V.
