2019 C7 Corvette ZR1 And 2017 Ford GT Both Heading To Auction: Which Will Sell For More?

Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale should be an interesting auction to watch as two modern supercars go under the hammer. We learned General Motors would auction the first production 2019 C7 Corvette ZR1 at the event, but Ford Authority reported a 2017 Ford GT will also be present and for sale.
It got us wondering: which one of these beasts will sell for more? No matter the sale price, both will benefit excellent causes. The Corvette ZR1 wearing VIN 001 will benefit the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which helps wounded veterans through the Building for America’s Bravest program. The Ford GT’s seller chose to turn over proceeds to the Autism Society of North Carolina’s IGNITE program.
We’re not entirely sure which car will bring in the higher hammer price. The Corvette ZR1 is, of course, the first ever made. We suppose the final sale price will depend on who will challenge Rick Hendrick’s checkbook most aggressively. Obviously, Hendrick will walk away with the Corvette ZR1. The Ford GT, however, is special because somehow, the seller bypassed Ford’s incredible strict flipping rule and it will likely be quite sometime before second-hand GTs surface for sale again. If Ford snubbed a buyer during the stringent application process, this is their shot to own VIN 023.

Rick Hendrick will buy the ZR1 for $1,000,000 so I’m gonna go with the Vette. Nobody is paying that much for ecoboost?
Flipping rule?
So much for the value of Fords Le Mans legacy!
I believe that the winner will not be the highest priced sale, but the one with the best bid value over the MSRP. So if both cars sold at one million each, the Chevy Corvette ZR1 will be the winner.
The Vette!!!
