Those who purchase a brand new 2018 C7 Corvette walk away very happy customers. The latest survey from Consumer Reports, released last Thursday, pegs the Corvette as one of the top 10 most satisfying cars, according to owners.
CR looked at annual data from more than half a million new car purchases with one main question for consumers: would they purchase or lease the same car? When it came to the C7 Corvette, it was a resounding “yes.” Owners also scored their vehicles on driving experience, comfort, value, styling, audio, and climate systems.
On the list, the Corvette ranked third, just behind the Porsche 911 and Tesla Model S. It’s affordable entry-level price nets owners a 455-horsepower 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine, a seven-speed manual transmission and the most well thought out interior we’ve seen in a modern Corvette. Customers echoed the praise.
The Corvette is a stark contrast to Chevrolet’s other top finisher on a different list: the top 10 least satisfying vehicles. The 2018 Chevrolet Trax crossover landed on the list after owners loathed its interior and overall experience.
