On Saturday, December 16th, Chevrolet truck owners gathered at the Texas Motor Speedway in Dallas, Texas for the Centennial Celebration of Chevy Trucks – the most dependable, long-lasting trucks on the road, as described by Chevrolet. GM Authority was on hand to witness the festivities.
The event – one hundred years in the making – celebrates Chevy’s 100 years of truck building. What event attendees didn’t know, however, is that they would be the first people in the world to see the all-new Chevy Silverado. With surprise and excitement in the air, the 2019 Silverado was introduced in the most spectacular of ways – by being choppered into the speedway’s infield and then driven off to pose in front of the audience. And luckily, one can relive all that in this video, starring and narrated by Alan Batey, GM North America President and Global President of Chevrolet.
The video shows the new Silverado Trailboss in a real-world environment, in motion and from different angles. We also recommend paying particular particular attention to the engine sound around the 1:12 and 1:30 marks, as the noise sounds like a powerful V-8 to us.

Look like an oversized sunroof will be an option but not a full panaromic one, I can’t tell but the roof lines are much shorter then current trucks but not small enough for a full size roof.
Regardless that front end looks amazing and I love the CHEVROLET on the tailgate

So tired of 4 doors! Can we PLEASE get back to an extended cab?! Would love to see a base 2 door too!
Not that I don’t like it but it looks like a mashup of other trucks and an updated version of my 2002. The wheel wells are rounded but still not round like the Ford and RAM where you can get a tire stuffed in there without rubbing.

It’s hideous! What the hell are you doing GM? Looks like a 2018 will be my last Silverado purchase. You are trying way to hard to be like the other guys. I’ve been a Chevy guy since I was 15. So disappointed.
