After 63 years, the General Motors Arlington, Texas, assembly plant has reached a milestone. A 2018 Chevrolet Tahoe RST became the 11 millionth vehicle produced at the facility.
Chevrolet marked the milestone this past Thursday and noted 2.5 million of the vehicles built at the Arlington plant have been graced with a Chevy bowtie. In fact, accounting for the other SUVs built at the plant, 75 percent of all full-size SUVs sold in the U.S. come from Arlington.
To keep up with consumer demand, GM has run the plant 24 hours a day and six days a week since 2015. A shiny new SUV is built every minute at the plant.
The Tahoe RST, or Rally Sport Truck, is a first for the nameplate. It bundles a 6.2-liter V8 engine and 10-speed automatic transmission to produce 420 horsepower in its top trim.

This blog really needs to stop this pointless rambling…for the most part I find GM Authority to provide some great articles.
