Mopar or no car? Not for this guy. Sure, this build looks like a regular Plymouth Duster for the most part, but it actually rides on a C6 Corvette chassis.
So the story goes, as first published on Fiat-Chrysler Authority, Gordie Rutkowski received the 1973 Duster as a hand-me-down and he immediately got to work on the car with a penchant for performance. Rutkowski dropped a 318 cubic-inch small-block V8 engine and then disassembled the car for paintwork.
Except, the paintwork never happened. After it sat idle for some time, he found a complete C6 Corvette chassis for sale. A few measurements later, he had a feeling it could work. And it did. Now, the Duster’s body rides on a C6 Corvette chassis and a 6.0-liter LS2 V8 engine sits under the hood and it looks better than ever. Cheers to you, Mr. Rutkowski, we like your taste.

Awesome!
Having built a number of Phantoms over the years, this article and Pic can’t possible describe the amount of work represented here.
Great job Mr. Rutkowski
Finally a good looking Corvette.
