ICON builds some pretty incredible creations, but its “Derelict” series is particularly noteworthy. The company performs all the necessary modifications to a vehicle and then reassembles the car as if nothing changed.
The latest car in for the Derelict treatment was this 1958 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud, and it was a labor of love. ICON published a new video to show viewers and fans how the car came to life, and in short, it took a lot of time and dedication. The big secret? The Rolls-Royce sports a 7.0-liter LS7 V8 engine under the hood. It’s probably the loudest Rolls-Royce one will ever encounter.
From there, ICON then tackled the chassis and installed all new hardware to ditch the floating characteristics for something a tad more performance-oriented. The car performed well at SEMA and was selected as one of this year’s top cars. Not to mention, it also competed in the Optima Ultimate Street Car Challenge, too.
You can get a better look and the car itself in the video above.
