This past weekend, the most powerful Corvette ever made its debut in the 2019 C7 Corvette ZR1 with 755 horsepower and 715 pound-feet of torque. Not only is it the most powerful Corvette ever made, but it also boasts a handful of design changes to accompany the substantial power increase.
So, as we always do, we’re here to ask you if the ZR1 is hot or not. Loving or hating it? Digging it, or not so much?
The most notable changes come at the front with a new fascia sporting larger inlets for added cooling. A front underwing is standard, while the ZTK performance package adds a front splitter up front as well. And, of course, there’s the massive shaker hood that provides clearance for the giant supercharger sitting beneath. It’s an aggressive looking Corvette, no doubt.
At the rear, the Corvette ZR1 is nearly identical to the Corvette Z06, but the major difference is either the low rise or high rise wing attached. The low rise wing is standard, while the ZTK package adds the big wing for 60 percent more downforce than the Z06’s Z07 package.
We happen to think the new Sebring Orange exterior hue is a very nice color here as well, though we’d love to see the ZR1 in a blue hue similar to the C6 Corvette ZR1 as well.
In all, it’s what the Corvette ZR1 should be: an aggressive looking sports car to match the performance it offers. Have a vote in our poll and talk to us below about what you’re feeling.

The ZR1 look like a ” most extreme and fixed Z06 “.
But i very like so much, in special in this Orange
A lot of people will bi#ch about the styling of the aero.
You know what, function over form is the case here, and that is beauty in engineering.
Man! What a monster! That front fascia alone says this ‘Vette is out for blood! Definitely hot!
I’m with J and Geoff, as long as this ‘Vette is out for blood, then function supersedes form, and that is a beautiful thing in engineering.
I believe the blood is mid 6:50. at the Ring
Home run for the Corvette boys!
This is a real winner.
The 2019 C7 Corvette ZR1 is ‘purpose built’ as it took the best of the existing C7 Corvette and enhanced things to make the new ZR1 the best road Corvette ever and not just a straight line car.
I find it interesting that GM prides itself for providing a great work environment for the LGBTQ community yet introduced the car in Dubai where they imprison, murder and torture this group of people. The irony…
Not at all. You’re just trying to create a link where none exists. They simply introduced the car to a group of potential customers that can buy it in quantity. And they will.
Walter Rohrl, rally ace and general Porsche legend says modern supercars are getting too fast for the Nurburgring.
He goes on to say that the current production car record holder. The 911 GT2 produces up to 416kg of downforce, way more than most supercars. That’s 917.123 lbs.
The C7 ZR1 is said to produce about 950 lbs. of downforce, This is starting to sound interesting.
