The Gumbal YouTube channel recently put together this compilation video featuring the ‘best of’ Chevrolet Corvette exhaust clips in its library.
As connoisseurs of the LS V8 melody, we found all 23 minutes of the video to be quite pleasing. To be clear, it isn’t 23 minutes of non-stop wide-open-throttle snarling and crackling. No, instead it features the sounds of the exhaust at various RPM ranges and from various Corvette models. From what we could tell, it looks like just about every Corvette is either a C5, C6, or C7, with varying trim levels, including the Z06 and ZR1 variants.

One has to wonder in an era of all electric vehicles.. will General Motors integrate sound generating computers to duplicate the sounds of what a supercharged V8 might produce.
I can see that taking place as an on/off option on performance cars.
Perhaps there will be a new world of tuning where tuning = changing the sound of an EV.
That would be terrible.
