Buick Earns Top Spot On J.D. Power Sales Satisfaction Survey

Consumers who purchased their latest vehicle from a Buick dealership walked away most satisfied, according to the latest J.D. Power Sales Satisfaction survey. Buick leads all other mass-market brands, while Lincoln stole the top spot from Porsche in the luxury rankings.

The survey ranks brands on a 1,000-point scale and pored over responses from 29,000 new-car buyers. It looks at four measures in particular: working out the deal, salesperson, delivery process and facility. Subsequently, GMC buyers ranked their experience very well since most GMC dealers share their facility with the Buick brand. GMC ranked third, only beat by Mini. Chevrolet clinched the fourth spot.

How about Cadillac? GM’s luxury brand ranked sixth on the separate premium rankings, though it remained ahead of the industry average. Notably, it scored higher than BMW and Audi.

  3. Funny thing, I went to the JDP website to read more, and there’s no mention of this award for 2017. I do see one for 2016. Do you have a link to the press release? Thanks.

  4. Never mind, I found it! Thanks

  5. Buick and Lincoln are direct rivals. Either Buick belonged in luxury or Lincoln should have been mass market.
I’d rather drive a Chrysler 300 before any Lincoln including Continental.
