Katech Sets New In-House Record With Apexx C7 Corvette Z06: Video

After Katech finished putting together the Apexx C7 Z06, using the production car’s stock Eaton supercharger for boost, the firm moved onto to dyno tuning the SEMA-bound Corvette. In this video, we get an overview of the tuning process, and a bit of context with the results.

In stock form, Katech’s Apexx C7 Z06 baselined posted 536 horsepower and 542 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels, but using a collection of bolt-on modifications, the company managed to push the 6.2L LT4 V8‘s output much, much further. In fact, after the couple of dyno runs shown in this video, the Apexx Corvette put up its best numbers yet: 769.7 horsepower and 785.4 lb-ft of torque using E71 fuel. It stands to reason that even more power could be extracted using E85.
