Project cars can take shape in so many different ways, and the possibilities are nearly endless when one sets out to build something unique. This is certainly one of those builds because it molds to iconic American performance cars into one.
Although it may simply look like a 1967 Ford Mustang, there’s much more than meets the eye. According to Ford Authority, the car uses Mustang body parts and tubular frame, but a C5 Corvette provides the powertrain. The owner says the C5 Corvette route was a much more cost-effective option than swapping in a Coyote of Voodoo V8 engine from Ford. In fact, the donor C5 Corvette was shipped from California to Canada for just $6,000.
Now, the owner has a pretty excellent looking build on his hands. The entire car was fabricated to mold into one C5-Mustang creation and wide fender flares were created to house the ultra wide track width. In the near future, plans for turbocharging or supercharging the 5.7-liter LS1 V8 are on the table. We’ll certainly be watching to see what happens with this build.

First of all that thing looks like crap
Second and more important
A GM engine should never be installed in a Ford or any car except a GM car or truck! That’s a rule! Stop breaking it!
