Chevrolet kicked off its centennial truck celebration at the Texas State Fair, but Detroit Watch Company will echo the party back in the Midwest with a special timepiece.
To celebrate 100 years of Chevy trucks, DWC introduced a limited-edition watch to commemorate the brand’s centennial. The design layout is similar to the company’s 1701 Pontchartrain model, but small tweaks have been made. Notably, the “1” and “8” are enlarged on the face, which references the 1918-2018 centennial.
The 42-millimeter case and sapphire crystal house an ETA 2824-2 automatic movement for 42 hours of power reserve. It’s unclear, but the blue stitching and blue face also seem relatively identical to Chevrolet’s “Centennial Blue” exterior color offered on the 2018 Silverado Centennial and 2018 Colorado Centennial editions.
The celebratory watch isn’t exactly inexpensive, though. With a $1,250 price, this is only for the die-hard Chevy truck fan. DWC will make just 100 of the commemorative watches.

1200.00 count me for one! Do they come in different colors
Only color is the Centennial Blue that was exclusive to all 2018 100th Anniversary Silverado and Colorado pickups.
At $1250/each, guess I’ll have to wait for the cheap Chinese knockoffs!! LOL
Automatic movement with a 42 hour power reserve, sapphire crystal, and a nice design. I like it!
I own #40 of 100 and I love it. Very well made with excellent deployment buckle on the blue leather strap.
Best Automatic movement with 42-hour power reserve, unique design, and built for pure material. I like your watch styles.
Is there a registry for who the fortunate 100 people are that own these watches?
I HAVE NUMBER 70, received it as a gift and i love it
Do you also have a 2018 Centenial pickup?
