Chevrolet U.S. Sales Increase 17.4 Percent To 199,801 Units In September 2017

Cumulative U.S. sales of GM’s Chevrolet brand increased 17.4 percent to 199,801 units in September 2017.
Retail sales increased 12.1 percent or 16,344 units to 151,792 vehicles, representing 76 percent of total Chevrolet sales in September 2017. That compares to 135,448 retail sales in September 2016, which represented 79.6 percent of total Chevrolet sales.
Fleet sales increased 38 percent or 13,220 units to 48,009 vehicles, representing 24 percent of total Chevrolet sales in September 2017. That compares to 34,789 fleet sales in September 2016, which represented 20.4 percent of total Chevrolet sales.

- Chevrolet Bolt EV sales totaled 2,632 units, its best month ever
- Retail deliveries totaled totaled 2,505 units
- Chevrolet Camaro sales increased 12.97 percent to 7,430 units
- Chevrolet Caprice sales increased 2187.5 percent to 183 units
- Chevrolet Colorado sales increased 8.55 percent to 11,271 units
- Chevrolet Commercial Truck sales increased 127.7 percent to 674 units
- Chevrolet Corvette sales decreased 46.77 percent to 1,506 units
- Chevrolet Cruze sales increased 0.34 percent to 15,268 units
- Chevrolet Equinox sales increased 80.28 percent to 27,512 units; retail sales increased 69 percent
- The results represent the model’s best September ever
- Chevrolet Express sales increased 15.03 percent to 6,514 units
- Chevrolet Impala sales increased 0.4 percent to 6,947 units; retail sales increased 7 percent
- Chevrolet Malibu sales increased 11.47 percent to 23,989 units
- Chevrolet SS sales increased 3320 percent to 171 units
- Chevrolet Silverado sales increased 21.72 percent to 55,236 units; retail sales increased 14 percent
- Chevrolet Sonic sales decreased 64.79 percent to 1,356 units
- Chevrolet Spark sales decreased 9.63 percent to 2,009 units
- Chevrolet Suburban sales increased 5.6 percent to 5,887 units
- Chevrolet Tahoe sales decreased 6.51 percent to 9,397 units
- Chevrolet Traverse sales increased 50.76 percent to 11,943 units; retail sales increased 104 percent
- The results represent the model’s best month ever
- Chevrolet Trax sales decreased 1.21 percent to 8,423 units; retail sales increased 8 percent
- The results represent the model’s best September ever
- Chevrolet Volt sales decreased 28.46 percent to 1,453 units
- September was the best month ever for Chevrolet electrified vehicles (Bolt EV and Volt) with 3,929 retail deliveries
- The results represent Chevrolet’s best retail sales performance since 2004
In the first nine months of the year, Chevrolet sales decreased 1.03 percent to 1,516,192 units.
