President Trump’s New Presidential Cadillac Limousine Spied Undergoing Final Testing

The current presidential limousine looks a tad… dated. It was all-new in 2009, but since then, it’s certainly gone a tad stale. Not to fear, because the next presidential limousine is nearly here.

President Donald Trump will be the first U.S. president to ride in the all-new limo, which looks to take the best design cues from the Cadillac Escalade and CT6 sedan and mold them into one prestigious ride. Under the chic new body still sits General Motors’ heavy-duty truck chassis, which normally underpinned a GMC TopKick. Other than these basic details, engineering and technology secrets are, obviously, classified.

Therefore we can simply marvel at the new design poking through the camouflage, which looks a much more put together and sleek than the current presidential limo. President Trump’s new ride was expected to be revealed at his inauguration, though delays have kept the limo under wraps. These spy shots give us our best look yet at the new ride, which means its reveal likely to be quite soon.

  1. Love President Trump and great to see, not someone else, getting a brand new vehicle.

All the left-wing triggered snowflakes can now plaster this board with their vitriol and hate mongering. But it still wont change reality.

    1. Left-wing triggered snowflakes. Does that list include:
Gen Michael Flynn, and Flynn’s son
      Reince Priebus
      Sean Spicer
      Anthony Scaramucci
Breitbart guy, whatever his ‘name’ is
      Sebastian Gorka
      Carl Ichan
His own son, now facing CIA probes up his endlessly
His own son-in-law, now facing Whitewater real-estate probes, remind you of anyone who should be in jail right now?

These folks sure are snowflakes, given how quickly they melted. “Trump Triggering”, coming your favorite Republican swamp-dweller anytime anywhere anyhow. (Meanwhile, Trump dines with Pelosi and gets the government opened for business…)

      2. He is the President. There is nothing you can do about it. Permitting your entire life to be consumed by something that you cannot control will eventually lead to insanity. Get over it. Move on.
I envision you walking down the sidewalk, frothing at the mouth, head twitching back and forth, muttering to yourself, “Trump…Trump…Trump…Trump…”.
Worry about your family, your job, your finances, etc.. Things that you CAN control.

        1. Thanks for your sage advice. You’re right, absolutely nobody can control Trump, except for the Saudi government which literally owns the 45th floor of Trump Tower, and the Russians who are taking the Moscow Trump Tower business, oh, and the golf business partners, Ivanka’s China fashion deals will need maintenance, …

But you’re right, there is absolutely nothing a normal American citizen can do, is there?

Drive home from work…TRUMP!!! Watch some evening tv…TRUMP!!! Lie down in bed for the night and have nightmares about…TRUMP!!!

            Wow!

Like those angry yelling boy republicans in Florida 2000 weren’t thinking about Al Gore, they were thinking about the hanging chads. That’s how I’m thinking about you.

  2. This vehicle looks to be a drastic improvement over the Obama era car which, contrary to this article, was the first entirely custom-built (or “all-new”) presidential limousine. Previous cars were all based on production models like the DTS, Deville, Fleetwood and Continental.

While the Obama-era car always looked a bit like a Russian Zil that was overly fortified and lacking any elegance, this new Trump car, appears quite striking. Even with all the camo, the underlying forms have more grace than the outgoing car ever had.

I wonder if that is a Trump thing; I wonder if that’s the reason for the delay, if perhaps he wanted the car to look better. Granted, I think even the initial prototypes seen tooling around before the 2016 election were an improvement over the work GM had done for the 44th President but there was an unexplained delay in the release of the new car and the newer prototypes are even more handsome. Trump is known to be a person who builds attractive properties and has owned exotic and high-priced cars. Perhaps he wanted the car he’ll ride in to be more visually appealing.

Of course I have no idea. I think it is equally likely that JdN ordered that the designers at GM work on the appearance of the car. I understand the Secret Service places a lot of restrictions on the car’s design for sake of the president’s protection. I have read that the Obama-era car was so hampered by the Secret Service directives that it wound up with the awkward visage that we’ve come to know and an apt nickname, the Beast, which partially reflects its appearance. While security is obviously vital, the car also serves as a symbol of America and it arguably is the most high-profile Cadillac that will exist so it also needs to look good. That obviously would be of great importance to JdN, the man responsible for leading Cadillac’s renaissance.

No matter what the cause, the car was expected on Inauguration Day, as has been the historical practice, and for some reason, it wasn’t ready but it looks like GM may have used the time to improve the final product and create a more appropriately regal car befitting the US President. I think it’s a big improvement.

    1. Trump is known to not only travel to his clubs on taxpayer money, his clubs are known as tax havens that shrink local revenues (I pulled a Trump and plagiarized everything from the comma on for those few Trump supporters capable of using a search engine). Guess soon he’ll be able to do it in style AND further pi$$ on GM’s image.

      1. As President, he does now does travel at Taxpayer’s expense. According to GAO figures, His predecessor Obama used to travel to play golf at something like $13 million per trip. yet not one of you guys protested those frequent flier trips., or suggested, he could have better used taxpayer funds, in the 6 months since his leaving office he has spent nearly $50,000,000 of our Tax Money on his “vacations”. But that is OK isn’t it?

        Reply
        1. Nice deflection. I never mentioned Obama and I’m not sure where you’re getting your figures from, but if accurate I can only imagine his vacations were pricey because they were generally in Hawaii and FAR less frequent.

I don’t recall Obama ever railing against his predecessor’s vacations and vowing to not take them, only to then go on to outdo his predecessor by a margin of more than 3 to 1 in his first months in office. Nor do I recall Obama staffers refusing to disclose Obama’s whereabouts, his buddies posing for pictures with the nuclear “football” (imagine if Obama did THAT), or reporters being expressly forbidden from photographing him golfing, or not disclosing WH visitor lists, etc., etc.

I would disclose the astronomical Trump cabinet and family Secret Service expenditures. but I have the funny feeling I would be wasting my breath.

          1. GAO (Government Accounting Office) I used to know all these people personally. The amount of money squandering has always been an issue. During the Depression, the government said there never was a Depression. Washington was doing just fine, thank you.
In the past the press actually had a little bit of concern for the country, and refused to spread dirt on the government officials. During Bill Clinton, all the sense of respect went out the window.
I have had the pleasure of selling Escalades to the government for the purpose of Armor plating.
They used to buy Off the Shelf vehicles, to prevent any tinkering.

  3. The delay, I heard, was in perfecting the Spicer/Flynn/Scaramucci Ejector Seat.

“Sean, why don’t you sit up front, next to the driver?”

But it seems they have to make two or three. A decoy, and one that runs on diesel … the prez travels with them, and if you put the wrong fuel in, it breaks down, like Obama’s did in Jerusalem. Kinda scary, regardless of your political leanings.

  4. At least it is a Cadillac!
Trump is making America Great again and moving into a newer Cadillac. The government does not just build One 1 car, but Several to be used as back up’s and decoys. As well as armored Escalades.
When only the Best will do, you use a Cadillac.
Eisenhower used a Cadillac, and said as goes GM so goes the nation.
JFK was shot in a Lincoln Nov., 22, 1963, 54 years ago now,
Wonder if there is any correlation?

    1. Well, that’s pretty stone cold. Kennedy had a Cadillac, too, but that was before presidents brought their own cars while traveling.

On a more positive note, yeah, there’s a lot that goes into the beast. Armor plating, but can still perform (there’s a video of the secret service doing high-speed track tests, like 75 mph in reverse and doing a 180).

There’s more ‘secret stuff’ – 3 pints of the president’s blood in case he needs an immediate transfusion, probably the same for Melania, who knows what else… anyway, looking forward to see the statement Beast 2.0.

You need to read “De Gaulle, His Life and Work” by Nikolai Molchanov.

Also, should we fly the Union Jack over Congress “not to glorify the sins of the past, yet as a reminder to never do that again.”? How about the black svas-tika in a red square? Your theory is identical here.

… and the British were behind impressment of new American navy officers and merchants in 1800-1811, and backed Mexico in 1846, so where exactly is the grand deep-web alt-rite freakn SECRET?

In other ‘news’, Churchill ordered the sinking of De Gaulle’s ships after Dunkirk, and BP arranged for the CIA to topple Mossadegh in Iran and replace him with the Shah.

All that worked out really well for America, didn’t it? America, Britain ain’t never gonna get over itself.

        1. From Eisenhower’s documents, Eisenhower used the CIA to put the Shah in power, as the British were stealing Iran’s oil, selling it and balancing their budget. Ike did not like it so he took care of that problem.
They started the mess in Suez, which Eisenhower brilliantly took care of.
Off topic a bit, but Eisenhower loved his Cadillac’s, and that was my first exposure to him as a child.

          1. OK, Eisenhower wanted the Shah to stop the British from stealing. The Iranian people wanted Mossadegh to stop the British. The Shah led us to the Ayatollah, whereas Mossadegh would have led to something like Ataturk. Oh well.
