East Coast Defender has made a name for itself by customizing Land Rovers to fit more niche markets, like this: the “Outdoorsman D90” (or “Defender 90”), designed and built for the “ultimate angler.”
With a Chevy-built 6.2-liter LS3 V8 under the hood, backed by a 4L80E automatic transmission, the Outdoorsman D90 makes an easy 430 horsepower. Its been kept at the factory ride height – sorry, no lift kits here – but BFGoodrich K02 tires occupy all four corners, mounted on 16-inch black Sawtooth wheels to enhance all-terrain performance.

Other upgrades by East Coast Defender include a fly-fishing rod holder in the cargo area, a rear door fold-down filet table, G4 Expedition roof rack with ladder, and a leather-accented Puma dash. The seats were also re-upholstered in perforated quilted black leather with green piping to match the British Racing Green dash and exterior.
It’s the perfect color for any serious ute of British origin.
