2019 Chevrolet Silverado Regular Cab Spied Testing

We’ve seen plenty spy shots showing the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado, but each time the truck appeared, it was sporting a dual or crew cab configuration. Now, the regular cab variant has shown its face to the camera’s eye for the first time.

The photos clearly show the two-door Silverado, which also wears slightly less cladding than before. We’re able to see just a little bit of the 2019 Silverado’s bodywork for the first time, notably behind the front doors. It looks like the 2019 Silverado will boast a more chiseled look than the current, boxy pickup.

One major difference we notice: the regular cab does not sport the same LED headlight design the crew and double cab trucks have worn. Instead, traditional headlights are in their place. It’s still difficult to tell what the front of the truck actually looks like, however. Chevrolet is still camouflaging the front grille with Ford-esque cladding as well.

We’ll likely see the 2019 Silverado appear sometime next year, just in time for Chevrolet trucks to celebrate 100 years of its pickups.

  1. If you look at the 3/4 rear view pic. You can see at the cab bed break the lines..the upper one under the bed side cab side glass.. this line extends to the tail light.. if you look closely at the tail light you can see it pointing out.. also I saw on another pic from a couple of months ago.. the camo was missing from the door to fender.. the upper line ran to the mirror and possibly to the lower side of the head lights

  2. Love the new look, but of course the windshield is way too small.

I mean, its not like you have to actually see over the hood of your truck right.

  3. Good to see GM moving quick toward new model changeovers, rather letting existing models get stale.

I will say that the existing Silverado model is still a good looking truck with a great looking front end, which will be hard to top.

  4. Actually it has a very large windshield. Two things get missed in the photos.

One they have a lot of padding on the hood. Second they have added more rake to the glass for better aero.

You will be able to see out.

  5. I think they should make the cab bigger so when the Chevy breaks in half you have more room to make your mini-temporary home out of.
