2018 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE Places Fourth In Best Driver’s Car Competition

The 2018 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE arrived on the scene earlier this year to do what the fifth-generation Camaro Z/28 did, except do it better. That sentiment was found mostly to be true as it was just shy of becoming a podium finisher at Motor Trend’s Best Driver’s Car competition with a fourth-place finish.
That’s three positions higher than the C7 Corvette Grand Sport, too.
The Camaro ZL1 1LE was a star on the track, but some judges found the very capable Camaro to be too harsh to be fun in other instances. Anywhere road imperfections cropped up, the Camaro ZL1 1LE channeled its inner paint mixer; it rattled and jolted drivers around to the n’th degree.
Otherwise, the car’s performance boggled judges in a very good way. The steering was deemed freakishly sharp, the brakes stopped with utmost force, and the 650 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque on tap from its 6.2-liter supercharged LT4 V8 engine were more than enough to satisfy.
Who knows what the Camaro ZL1 1LE may lead to next. The Camaro team has curiously not shown the world what it may have in store for a sixth-generation Camaro Z/28…

Regardless of what the review says, I’d say the Camero is the winner for this reason, price! Only car on the list a normal person maybe able to afford.

The Camero Test price was $73,718.00. Still too much for me to afford but at least it’s reasonably possible
