Watch A Pair Of C7 Corvettes Hit The Track Under The Solar Eclipse: Video

Earlier this month, Americans were treated to their first solar eclipse in decades and the first of the 21st century. While watch parties and other various events were held across the nation, Car and Driver decided to take it in a different way.
It brought two C7 Corvettes, a C7 Corvette Stingray and a C7 Corvette Z06, to the National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park with fighter pilot and astronaut Andrew Allen to take in the Great American Eclipse in one of America’s greatest sports cars.
After tooling around the track, the cars take a rest as totality nears and day turns to night. Really, it’s just a video of beauty shots and noises from the C7 Corvette’s small-block V8 engine. Have a look at it all in the video above.
