Katech is perhaps best known for offering a naturally-aspirated, 700-hp LT1 V8 to ordinary (read: non-racing driver) Chevrolet fans, but in fact, the firm offers a whole line of performance products that support both the LT1 and LT4 V8 engines.
Actually, most of Katech’s catalogue can be found on this corn-fed Chevrolet C7 Corvette Z06, which makes 850 horsepower at the crank. The extensive list of upgrades can be seen in the description of the video, but we’ve included a few of the big ticket items here to give you an idea of what you’re looking at:
- Katech Stage 4 engine package
- Katech flex fuel conversion
- Katech fuel system with twin 350-lph Deatchwerks pumps
- American Racing 2″ headers
- TIKT heat exchanger system
- TIKT oil cooler
- Katech LT4 lightweight flywheel
- DSC Sport suspension controller
One of our favorite features is the DSC Sport suspension controller, which allows Katech to tune the MRC suspension using an ordinary smartphone.
A carbon-fiber front splitter and rear wing by TiKT, plus a suite of additional carbon-fiber pieces from Katech, give this Z06 a much more aggressive look than when it left the factory. These enhancements are complemented by Katech KT1 forged 19×10 & 20×12 wheels in a matte black finish, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
