File this one into the obscurity files, folks. A 1971 C3 Corvette custom station wagon has surfaced for sale and it’s a unicorn.
No, really, it kind of is a unicorn because the car actually features a unicorn graphic on the hood. Whether you like the looks of it are not are up for debate. It’s certainly… interesting.
The auction ended a few days ago, though it’s unclear if the car sold or not. The C3 Corvette station wagon was offered up via a Texas estate sale, which is said to have 84,000 miles on the odometer and only needed some electrical work. The top bid at the time was just over $14,000. The interior is completely original, however.
Certainly, it’s a much less expensive option that Callaway’s C7 Corvette AeroWagen, but we’d pony up for the Callaway car over this unicorn any day. That’s just us. Check out the auction listing here.

It is absolute sacrilege to do that to a Corvette. ‘Customizing’ a Corvette should carry a mandatory life sentence in a Yugo.
