Chevrolet has risen to the top of the most-viewed television ads, per the latest data from WardsAuto and iSpot TV.
Specifically, the Chevrolet Summer Drive event advertisement scored the most impressions with a high attention score to give it first place. The advertisement is a rare TV spot that focuses on Chevrolet performance cars and trucks and features the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2, 2017 C7 Corvette and the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro. At the end of the ad, though, it advertises the 2017 Chevrolet Malibu.
275,725,197 impressions were recorded from the ad, and the attention score hit 88.47. Chevrolet spent over $2 million on the advertisement nationwide.
In second place is Chevrolet’s latest attack on the Ford F-150 and another “Real People, Not Actors” ad. The ad shows a focus group learning about a “next-generation” pickup truck, which turns out to actually be a disguised 2017 Chevrolet Silverado. Overall, the ad recorded 226,059,288 impressions with an attention score of 89.73. The total cost for the ad thus far is over $1.6 million.
Sales of the Silverado took a nosedive last month and the Malibu has started to struggle amid fantastic incentives.
