Chevy Corvette Sales Decrease 10.6 Percent To 1,930 Units In July 2017

Chevrolet Corvette sales decreased in the United States and in Canada during July 2017.

Chevrolet Corvette deliveries in the United States totaled 1,930 units in July 2017, down 10.6 percent compared to July 2016. In the first seven months of 2017, sales of the sports car fell 7 percent to 15,637 units.

Chevrolet Corvette Sales – July 2017 – Canada

In Canada, Corvette sales totaled 261 units in July 2017, an increase of 76.4 percent compared to July 2016. In the first seven months of the 2017, Corvette sales increased 41.3 percent to 1,533 units.

  1. Buyers must be turned off by the excessive wind noise at high speeds, contributing to a feeling of insecurity for the driver. In high-end exotics, wind noise conditions remain muted at very high speeds. GM has always struggled with this problem in a lot of their products.

    1. High levels of wind noise? Are you kidding me?

      First of all, that is not an issue with the C7.

      Second, even if it were an issue, you would not hear it on a test drive of until way after the customer has taken the car home.

      Third, comparing the Corvette to a high-end exotic is not wise.

      That said, mid engined C8 is coming… so… there go all of those arguments.

      And what other GM products have had wind issues aside from the trucks and SUVs?
