Cadillac opened its first “Cadillac House” on its home turf in New York City, New York, but its first location outside of the United States has fared quite well.
The brand opened the Munich, Germany, Cadillac House last month and says attendance has surpassed estimates. In total, more than 17,000 have visited Cadillac’s creative space meant curate the brand. In addition to Cadillac’s furnishing and amenities, the brand has displayed the “Letters to Andy Warhol” exhibit, which drew more visitors than any other event where the exhibit was shown.
The exhibit closed on August 6, but Cadillac had already lined up its next act for Munich, Germany. “STROKE,” a contemporary German art fair invaded the Cadillac House for nearly the entire month of August. Cadillac says the young artists that are part of the display don’t shun “old school” work but instead try to redefine it. Of course, “Dare Greatly” fits in quite nicely with this thinking.
Next on Cadillac’s list is a Cadillac House in Shanghai, China, though details on when the space will open have yet to be revealed.

Seoul opened a Cadillac House in August. You can see it at this website: http://cadillac.co.kr/cadillachouse/overview.php
Germany is quite a car place compared to some other countries in Europe, and Munich being BMW’s home turf it has got to be seen as some progress for Cadillac to get good attendance there. Interesting to see if it translates to sales though.
