The GM Authority Take
The overall drop in Escalade sales in July is puzzling given that the market continues to lust after CUVs and SUVs at the expense of other vehicle types like sedans and coupes. As such, barring a market change, we expect Escalade sales to increase in the months ahead.
As we noted during the last few months, an increase in Escalade sales would be healthy for GM earnings, since the model is one of GM’s most profitable vehicles, if not the most profitable.

It couldn’t be that GM priced the car out of the market could it?
No, the bean counters would never do that.
Or, Would they? After all they know everything.
I lost 3 of them to other makes due to lease payments.
I am working on 3 more.
I don’t think it’s priced out the market, but that the Escalade could use some refinements. Namely the interior which isn’t “bad” but could be better. Cadillac should have embraced the Escalade as their flagship 1. because EVERYONE knows what an Escalade is and 2. because Caddy would have been on top of their game when the the crossover boom began
