The ZR-1 was the pinnacle of C4 Corvette during its heyday. With a 5.7-liter LT5 DOHC V8 engine—built by Mercury Marine—it made a whopping 375 horsepower. That was no small figure in the early to mid-1990s.
While most C4 Corvettes haven’t garnered much value as of recent, ZR-1s remain sought after. And now one has landed on Bring A Trailer and it can be yours. This 1991 C4 Corvette ZR-1 houses just 30,000 miles on the odometer and it’s spent its life shielded from the elements.
It’s not completely stock, per the description, but nonetheless, a low-mileage ZR-1 always grabs our attention. According to the description, it has an aftermarket exhaust, a tuned ECU and other minor performance modifications. The stock wheels are included with the sale, however.
How about that color? The Turquoise Metallic exterior hue was applied to just over 110 Corvette ZR-1s between 1990 and 1991. On this car, it remains entirely original.
The car has been incredibly well maintained through its life, but now the owner is ready to part ways after putting only 1,000 miles on it. We’re not in the market, but maybe you are.

25,000?
Rare is normally good, but this color is pretty rough…. not sure if I could drive it.
If it weren’t for that color I’d be interested. I almost bought a ZR1 C4 a few years back for about $22k. I kind of regret not picking it up.
Nice detail photos and information available by clicking on the Bring a Trailer link in the article. Current high bid shows $16,000. Looks like a very decent car if you like that color.
