The Chevrolet ‘Inferno’ Camaro by Roadster Shop is a first-generation restomod done right – so right, in fact, that it was just recently named “2017 Street Machine of the Year” at the 20th Goodguys PPG Nationals event.
In the video above, you’ll get to see the 6.2-liter-LT1-powered yellow gem on the Roadster Shop dyno cell, where it put down 490 horsepower and 458 lb-ft of twist to the rear wheels. That commendable bump in performance comes courtesy of custom-ground LT1 cams from Texas Speed & Performance, and a full exhaust system by Roadster Shop, featuring a set of headers with 17/8” primaries, a dual-3-inch cat-back system, and custom-machined tips.
If the Inferno Camaro looks familiar, that’s probably because the car made its original debut at SEMA 2016. After all this time, it’s good to see that this excellent custom build is still attracting the attention it deserves.
