If you’re looking for great ways to have fun this summer, you may want to check out the recently-opened “Kartplex” go-kart track at the National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky. It may not be the same as racing an actual Corvette, but we’re sure it’s still a blast.
Pricing at the Kartplex is $20 for an 8-minute session, though it also offers private sessions for endurance races, karting parties, or full kart-track rentals. The endurance race includes a 20-minute practice with 60 minutes of non-stop competition, involving anywhere from 18 to 48 people split into teams of 4 or 5 drivers. Pricing for the endurance race is $50 per person with a $1,000 minimum, and that includes bottled water; hydration is crucial in racing.
Karting parties at the Kartplex include an 8-minute practice session, 8-minute qualifier, and an 8-minute race. The parties are a great fit for 10 to 24 people, allowing up to 8 drivers to race at a time. Pricing is $50 per person (also includes bottled water).
If you have a party of more than 48 people, then you’ll want to do a full kart-track rental, which is priced at $1,200. The park states that the event will have an average of 48 people racing per hour, which breaks down to about $25 per hour of racing for each participant.
In order to drive at the Kartplex, you must be at least 5-feet tall or hold a valid driver’s license if the height requirement is not met. Normal business hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 1pm to 7pm, and 1pm to 6pm on Sundays.

I must say it’s a pretty lame layout, but I guess they get families through there with little driving experience. And then the Vette owners that come through already have one foot in the ground, so best not to make things too challenging.
Ha! This will be a test of how many negative votes one comment can get, if there ever was one!

You gotta try harder than that. Letting it sit at 0/0 will really piss you off.
Where are the negative votes?
