2018 Chevrolet Traverse Priced From $30,875, Configurator Now Live

Pricing for the 2018 Chevrolet Traverse became available this past May, but Chevy has made it official as it launches the online configurator for its latest full-size crossover.

The 2018 Chevrolet Traverse will start at $30,875 when it goes on sale this fall, including destination, though the price will climb past $50,000 for a High Country variant.

Per the configurator, buyers will be met with base, LS, LT Cloth, LT Leather, Premier and High Country trims. LT Cloth represents the volume-selling model, which includes foglights, power driver’s seat, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and express up and down power windows for the driver and front-seat passenger. It’s also finished with a few extras outside, while base models receive plastic cladding in place of the foglights and a slightly different grille.

Pricing for each trim is as follows:

  • $30,875, base
  • $32,995, LS
  • $35,495, LT Cloth
  • $42,095, LT Leather
  • $45,395, Premier
  • $52,995, High Country

All-wheel drive is optional on the LS, LT Cloth and LT Leather trims for an additional $3,800, and $2,900 on Premier models; AWD is standard on High Country.

What the configurator does reveal is how much the Redline package will cost. It will only be available on the Premier trim and adds black accents to a Silver Ice Metallic exterior color among other upgrades such as 20-inch wheels with red hashmarks, dark taillights and red-outlined badges. Chevrolet has not provided details on the dedicated RS trim, however. The 2018 Chevrolet Traverse RS will arrive with a standard. 2.0-liter LTG turbo four-cylinder engine.

2017 is indeed the year of the crossover for Chevrolet, and the 2018 Traverse will arrive at dealerships later this year,

  4. They’ve been advertising the High Country in Black Currant since January but it’s not available. I would be interested in pretty much any color besides the available ones. I guess I’ll wait for the 2019s and hope for the best. Also: these are on lots right now.

    1. Only had one for just over a day but am used to it now. It starts up before your foot is even on the accelerator. It’s sometimes negated by the a/c.
