Vauxhall Offers Insurance Discount For Young Drivers

Vauxhall wants to sway young drivers into showrooms with a special discount. When drivers ages 18-24 purchase a new Vauxhall Corsa, the brand will foot the initial insurance cost up to £1,000, or about $1,292 USD.

Vauxhall, as always, also offers the option to combine insurance contributions with finance offers.

“We are all aware of the high insurance premiums faced by young drivers, so to help young drivers get on the road Vauxhall has introduced a £1,000 insurance contribution program,” said Leon Caruso, Vauxhall’s Retail Sales Director. “The Corsa Limited Edition is a great choice as a first or second car, with dynamic design features and superb connectivity, all backed up by excellent safety equipment.”

The program runs parallel to Vauxhall’s scrappage program, which coaxes drivers of older cars into new vehicles with special offers.

Youngsters looking to take advantage of the program have until June 30, 2017, to take delivery of a shiny, new Corsa.

  1. We have that problem in the US. More and more young people don’t drive because of the high insurance rates they’re forced to pay. Often times, teens will pay their car payment equivalent for insurance each month. Which is ridiculous.
