A group of selected bloggers and celebrities have a five-week-long journey ahead of them. Opel has tapped notable names for a road trip in the 2017 Opel Ampera-e and plenty will unfold along the way.
Photography professionals GermanRoamers and video creators ellevant will spend five weeks with the Ampera-e and take the electric car from Oslo, Norway through mainland Europe to Amsterdam, Paris, Bilbao, Cannes and Munich. At the end, the road trip will end in Opel’s home city of Rüsselsheim.
Along the way, the celebrities will take the Opel Ampera-e to its limits to see how far the EV can go on a single charge. Furthermore, at each predestined stop, the group will interview leaders in mobility and sustainability industries.
“With the #AMPventure, we want to demonstrate first-hand how ideal the Ampera-e is for everyday driving,” said Tina Müller, Opel Chief Marketing Officer. “Our team of bloggers will share this experience with #AMPventure followers in real time over a range of social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.”
The trip will end on June 30 with a final interview featuring Opel CEO, Dr. Karl-Thomas Neumann. In the meantime, watch the various social media channels to follow the fun.

Mary Barra should do the same across the U.S. with the 2017 Chevy Bolt EV, inviting special members from the press and EV advocates with them. That will help sell more Bolt EVs when the rest of the nation gets it from dealers in September.
