John Hennessey Tells Us How To Order The 1,000 HP Exorcist Chevrolet Camaro ZL1: Video

Hennessey cast a slight rain shower on the reveal of the 2018 Dodge Challenger Demon earlier this year when it revealed the Exorcist Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. Granted, the Demon is from the factory and the Exorcist is an aftermarket job, but the numbers are still incredible.

The Exorcist Camaro ZL1 pushes 1,000 horsepower to the crank and around 959 hp to the rear wheels, per John Hennessey. The man himself can be seen here taking the very first HPE Exorcist Camaro ZL1 for a drive and in the process, he tells potential customers how they can order their own car.

HPE will work with local dealerships in the Houston, Texas area to ship the base car to HPE for the conversion. Of course, those who already own a ZL1 can simply bring it over. However, Hennessey himself says many inquiring customers don’t own a ZL1 yet. HPE will also help customers spec their car appropriately, too.

After the car is shipped to HPE, the process takes about eight to 12 weeks, but the results are impressive. Stick around for the 3:15 mark to watch Hennessey jump on the throttle and hear the Exorcist’s wail.

  1. I can’t believe people still let Hennessey touch their cars.

  2. Good luck getting your car and support afterwards. Can’t believe any manufacturer or dealer would get involved.

  3. They say buying a car is the second BIGGEST investment you’ll make next to buying a home and this is why it’s a RED FLAG to allow anyone to do any aftermarket work that will VOID your manufacturer’s warranty and will NOT offer you any warranty for the work they do.
