Recently, we got to see YouTuber Cleetus McFarland take the Fasterproms-built Cadillac ATS-V out for a spin, providing us with a quick look at the car’s quarter-mile capabilities.
The video above shows Fasterproms’ run in its entirety.
The Fasterproms Cadillac ATS-V is capable of running the quarter-mile in 10.7 seconds at 130.6 miles per hour – an impressive time, especially given that this particular car is equipped with a manual transmission.
To manage that, Fasterproms fitted the Cadi with a few bolt-ons to bring wheel power and torque up to 520 hp and 506 lb-ft at 19 pounds of boost. Compare that to the baseline 417-horsepower and 405 lb-ft of torque at 13-14 pounds. And, as you’ll see below, the list of mods isn’t even all that extensive:
- Fasterproms 3″ downpipes
- Fasterproms thermal-reduction plates
- Fasterproms ram-air with drop in filters
- Alkycontrol methanol kit
- Drag radials
We’re eager to see this “world record” get bested in the near future. Perhaps Lingenfelter or Renick Performance will take the crown next.

Methanol? Is it safe and readily available?
Wow…..impressive. I’m buying a 2018 ATS-V Coupe when available, and ask…….where can I find ‘proper’ Winter SNOW Tires P255/35 R18 Runflats preferred…..and nice bright alloys 18×9 that fit correctly ??
