Brakes are an essential component to any vehicle, especially in a performance car. For all the power and performance found in the sixth-generation Chevrolet Camaro, it means nothing if stopping distances are mediocre at best.
Thankfully, the stock brake systems found on each Camaro variant get the job done, but Chevrolet Performance will sweeten the deal for an upgrade. Owners of sixth-generation Chevrolet Camaros can receive 25 percent off the MSRP of 4-Piston Brake Upgrade Systems.
The parts must be ordered through the Chevrolet Performance website to be eligible for the discount and it does not cover installation.
Those interested in some extra stopping force have until August 15, 2017, to place an order.

Does this mean I will get a revised price on my ordered 1LS-1LE, which has those 4-piston brakes as part of the package. The Brembo 6-pistons would be a better deal with the offered 25% off, but when you order those on a 1LE, it costs the same as if you had ordered them on a base Camaro with 2-piston brakes. Does that make any sense? What was Chevy thinking? So I will be adding aftermarket brakes or take them off a wrecked SS-1le along with the SS-1LE wheels.
