The development of General Motors’ next-generation full-size pickups is well underway. We’re beginning to see the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado and 2019 GMC Sierra more and more often.
Today, it’s the 2019 GMC Sierra again. GMC’s full-size truck was spied deep in the forest undergoing towing tests. Not one, but multiple Sierras were captured and they seem to represent different trims and cab configurations. One wears basic wheels, one sports more luxurious wheels; one looks to be a crew cab, the other looks like a double cab configuration.
Much like the 2019 Silverado, there’s not a lot of solid information available surrounding the 2019 Sierra. We know General Motors plans to incorporate plenty of aluminum to save weight and a 10-speed automatic is likely a given. The 10-speed was co-developed between GM and Ford—Ford has already implemented the transmission in the F-150. GM chose the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for its first act.
From 2019 Silverado spy shots, the design may be more evolutionary than revolutionary, for better or worse, but the trucks remain covered in camo. We’ll likely see the trucks surface next year officially.

So much riding on this truck. Better be great.
Hoping for the best. The Silverado so missed the mark this generation.
I think the design is going to be similar to what is being shown as the new blazer
In one side picture.. the camo is not hiding the door edge at the fender.. just below the mirror on that edge you can see how it comes to a point for lacking better way to describ
Also one o later pics.. it shows a break in camo between front and back door.. you can see the window trim.. so no ford dip.. just my opinion
