GMC provided a clever little Easter egg with the debut of its “Like a Pro” advertising campaign. Yesterday, we brought you the lead ad, titled, “How do you want to live – Anthem.” However, GMC’s second ad, which surrounds the Sierra, shows off the 2018 GMC Sierra Denali HD.
Freezing the frame a 0:16 shows the 2018 Sierra Denali HD in all its glory, and it’s sporting a revised front grille. The 2017 model’s grille is largely a mesh piece, while the 2018 model gains the horizontal, 3D-esque elements present on the 2017 Acadia Denali and recently revealed 2018 GMC Yukon Denali. It’s a much cleaner, more premium looking design.
The 2018 Sierra HD Denali brings posh elements to the gutsy Heavy Duty model, including the new 6.6-liter L5P Duramax turbodiesel V8 engine. The new engine produces an SAE-certified 445 horsepower and 910 pound-feet of torque. A new air intake system and scoop for better breathing were also introduced for the 2017 model year.
“Like a Pro” takes GMC’s longstanding “Professional Grade” ad motif and strengthens the core message. In the process, it seems the “Precision” motif is has been ousted after two years. Have a look at the ad above and watch for the 2018 Sierra HD Denali around the 0:16 mark.

“How do you want to live?”
“Like a pro”
lol. The marketing dept didn’t think that one through……
Still better than Chevy’s crap marketing lately
Any intel on the 2018 Sierra Denali 2500HD changes?
I noticed the 2017 lacked features included in the F250 such as push button start, rear HVAC, rear heated seats, collision warning in the mirrors, dual panel sun roof, deployable running boards etc. Also love the hood on the duramax, if they brought that onto the gas model it would be a dream come true for my “perfect truck”.
I have the 2008 1500 denali and I love it, but it is time to upgrade.
