The annual Chevrolet Nationals event at the Carlisle Fairgrounds in Pennsylvania is scheduled to run from Friday, June 23rd through Sunday, June 25th. The gates will open at 7AM, closing at 6PM Friday and Saturday, and 12PM on Sunday.
As you would expect from the name of the event, the focus will be on “everything and anything Chevrolet,” though other makes are welcome to attend. Since this year marks the 50th anniversary of the F-body platform, you’ll see plenty of first-generation Chevy Camaros and Pontiac Firebirds.
There’s plenty to see and do during the event. According to LSXMag, the first Camaro ever built will be on display, as will the LS V12 Camaro SEMA superstar. UMI Performance will have a tent in the north field, and will offer free autocross ride-alongs. That’s right, free, and you may even have the chance to go more than once (though age and height restrictions may apply).
Admission to the Carlisle Chevrolet Nationals will cost $10 on Friday and Saturday, and $7 on Sunday, although there’s also an Event Pass covering all three days for $15. That’s only for teens and adults, though; children 12 and under will be allowed in free of charge.
There’s less than a week left to save 10% on your Showfield registration, which will allow you to put your ride on display during the event. Visit the Carlisle Events webpage for more information or to purchase a pass.
