Vehicle technology and safety have changed quite a bit since 2009. 2009 is the last time a new presidential limousine was unveiled for then-president Barack Obama. Current president Donald Trump is in for a new set of wheels, though.
General Motors has been spied testing the successor to Cadillac One, or “The Beast,” and it looks to be a far cry from the current limo. Up front, it still looks like a mix between Cadillac Escalade and Cadillac CT6, while the rear takes plenty of CT6 cues. That’s a good thing because the current DTS-inspired presidential is looking pretty darn stale.
Underneath, however, it is not a Cadillac. The presidential limo is actually based on a medium-duty truck platform and it measures in longer than a Chevrolet Suburban. The latest safeguards are likely in place, too, though the federal government is barred from sharing details due to security concerns. We know the current limo features bulletproof tires, windows and sheet metal, and it can withstand EMP attacks as well as chemical attacks with an onboard oxygen supply.
The new limousine was supposed to be revealed at President Trump’s inauguration, though, it failed to show up. Now, it’s unclear when Trump will receive his new ride, though, it will likely be sooner rather than later.

A bill introduced in the Texas House of Representatives would fine men for master-baiting, allow doctors to refuse to prescribe Viagra and require men to undergo a medically unnecessary rectal exam before any elective vasectomy. One section would protect doctors who refuse to perform vasectomies, prescribe Viagra or perform colonoscopies. Another section would require men seeking health services to review a pamphlet called “A Man’s Right to Know” with their doctor. The bill specifies that the pamphlet must include “medically accurate, objective and complete” information. The bill would require a 24-hour waiting period for men’s vasectomies or Viagra prescriptions, just like Texas’ 24-hour waiting period for a boar shuns.
It would also mandate a “medically-unnecessary digital rectal exam and magnetic resonance [imaging] of the rectum” before any elective vasectomy, colonoscopy or Viagra prescription. And the proposal that men’s master-bay-shun be regulated, with fines for any emissions that are “outside of a woman” or not saved for future conception? It’s justified on the grounds of preserving the “sanctity of life.”
This is our legal future, folks.

Yes, Trump’s currently driving the pre-loved limo that Obama used. The Obama Library in Chicago is allowing its use until Trump’s impeachment by Ryan & McConnell. There won’t be a Trump library, unless you count that VHS collection he shared with Larry Flynt that’s kept just under the gold lettering on top of the NY tower.
There may be a special place reserved for Putin’s tapes of his puppet getting his golden showers. That would explain the yellow tint in his hair.

Today in California a man screaming racial slurs attacked and stabbed a black man with a machete. On Friday two men were stabbed to death in Portland and another man was severely wounded after stepping in to defend a Muslim woman from a known white supremacist’s racist tirade. And on and on it goes.

China Labor Watch Executive Director Li Qiang said he lost contact with Hua Haifeng and the other two men, Li Zhao and Su Heng, over the weekend. By Tuesday, after dozens of unanswered calls, he had concluded: “They must be held either by the factory or the police to be unreachable.”
China Labor Watch, a New York-based nonprofit, was planning to publish a report next month alleging low pay, excessive overtime and the possible misuse of student interns. It is unclear whether the undercover investigative methods used by the advocacy group are legal in China.
For 17 years, China Labor Watch has investigated working conditions at suppliers to some of the world’s best-known companies, but Li said his work has never before attracted this level of scrutiny from China’s state security apparatus.
