The GM Authority Take

Though it is the oldest vehicle in its class, the Traverse continues to hold its own, posting highly impressive April retail sales as the GM Lansing Township plant is converted to produce the all-new 2018 Chevy Traverse. The all-new model will launch in the U.S. in the fall of 2017 and delivers improvements in every aspect of the vehicle, enabling it to become even more competitive in the marketplace — a factor that we expect will translate to higher overall sales volume and average transaction prices, both of which are the primary indicators of a model’s health in the marketplace.

  1. I am a current 2010 Chevy Traverse owner I have had the vehicle for going on two years now. By far it is the worst vehicle I have ever owned. I have had issue after issue and all that the service departments for GM can tell you was bring it in so we can diagnose it oh and the diagnosis will cost 100 plus dollars. I have read forums after forms on the different horrible things that go wrong and that are continuing to going wrong with these vehicles and GM will will not take any responsibility for this horrible piss poor vehicle they have put together. Thank you GM for selling us the consumer a most disastrous product. I hope you all at GM sleep well at night knowing how you have screwed over everyone who owns, leased or financed one of these vehicles.

  2. We still have our 09 for some reason, the main problem is the traverse left a bad taste in peoples mouth.. I mean @ 100,000 the car had many problems. The one major is the Timing chain had to be replace along with the guides.. Thank the lord it was under a recall , but the next 100,000 wont be. It was a total engine removel to do the job… soon the repair cost will exceed the cost of the car itself.. Of course I’m only one option..
