It’s certainly not a bad time to be shopping for a 2017 C7 Corvette. According to Corvette Blogger, Chevrolet has reconfigured incentives and is now offering 10 percent off of the MSRP for certain C7 Corvettes.
Chevrolet is offering a select number of bonus tags to its dealer network to move some extra Corvettes from dealership to driveway. Those who take advantage of the savings will receive supplier pricing plus 10 percent off the MSRP.
However, the owner loyalty rebate and Brembo brake incentives are now gone, which equaled $7,000 in savings.
Corvette inventory is a tad high at the moment as sales continue to wane from record levels last year. General Motors has already announced downtime at various manufacturing plants across the U.S., most recently adding two additional weeks of downtime at the Lordstown, Ohio plant.
The Bowling Green assembly plant will also shut down for three months beginning in August of this year to integrate the plant’s new paint shop. In the process, the plant will also suspend public tours fo 18 months. Because no one wants wandering eyes with 2018 C7 Corvette ZR1 and potential C8 Corvette parts floating around…
For those wanting to order a 2018 C7 Corvette, the cut-off date is June 12, 2017. Any orders following that date will be assembled in the fall.
