Renick Performance Shows The Cadillac ATS 2.0 Some Love With This Axle-Back: Video

So far we’ve seen a bit of what Renick Performance (RP) has to offer as far as the ATS-V and CTS-V are concerned, but we haven’t seen much for other Cadillac vehicles – until now.

In the video above, we get to hear a sampling of RP’s new axle-back exhaust system for Cadillac ATSes equipped with the turbocharged, 2.0-liter LTG four-cylinder. Renick touts the system as being “soft, yet sporty,” making it the perfect choice for folks who want to give their ATS 2.0T a bit more volume without having to suffer through too much racket.

The LTG four-banger may not have a roar quite so mighty as that of the supercharged, 6.2-liter LT4 V8, or a rumble as impressive as that made by the twin-turbocharged, 3.6-liter LFX V6, but that doesn’t mean its voice can’t still be appreciated. In fact, we rather think 2.0T with a straight pipe sounds pretty darn good – but that’s neither here nor there.

Be sure to hit play to hear the sound clip for yourself, and tell us what you think in the comments section below.
