The GM Authority Take

The decrease in U.S. Sierra deliveries in March is concerning given the numerous incentives being offered by GMC, which among included a discount of 15 percent off MSRP, among other offers. What’s perhaps even more worrisome is that the competition — specifically the Ford F-Series and FCA’s Ram Pickup — each saw sales volumes increase during the month as the Sierra and its brother — the Chevy Silverado — saw sales volumes fall.

  1. GM doesn’t get it that being king of the double cab market is not good enough. People want crew cab trucks!! You can lease a Ram Crew cab for the same money you can lease a GM double cab and for a few bucks more the new F150 full crew cab. That’s an easy choice when I have kids or someone that rides in the back seat. I predict that Ram will outsell Chevy at least 6 times this year!!! GM and its mediocre truck executives need to be replaced. Look we waited 7 years and got this truck in 2014 really??,,
